Why Rollnook

WHY ROLLNOOK
Opening a box. Setting out the board. Getting your favorite people together. We love board games, and we built Rollnook to complement them, not replace them.
Let the app help with dice, token draws and turns. Keep the physical game, the conversation and the joy of playing together. Technology should bring people closer, wherever they play.
Friends in different parts of the world can each set up their own physical copy of the same game. For games that work across separate boards, join a Rollnook session and share rolls and token draws while you play.
Stay in touch on your usual voice or video call. Move the pieces on your own board and follow the shared results in Rollnook.

BEYOND THE FIRST ROLL
Free play works right away. For a game with more steps, start with an example and adjust it. Written rules explain the game to people; How to play controls the actions Rollnook runs.
Roll once, keep and reroll, or draw until you stop. Review the example, then choose the pieces and adjust the steps. Add a player choice before rolling only if the game needs one.

Add a piece in a later round, set up a purchase with game resources or confirm something on the physical board. Guided examples explain the stock, destination and timing. All settings is there for more specific rules.

Try your setup before saving it or inviting friends. Roll, draw and explore round changes in a practice game. Return to editing with your library and saved games unchanged.
