Learn to set up your game

Start with Pieces and How to play. Use Try this setup to check the result before playing. The guides explain each step, from a simple bag to purchases and rewards.

My changes do not appear in a game

A saved game keeps its starting configuration. Return to the editor and open a fresh practice to check changes. Start a new game when you want to use them with your group.

Drawing dice and rolling them are separate actions

In a dice bag, draw the dice first and then roll them. If Draw is unavailable, check for pending dice, remaining pieces and whose turn it is.

Written rules do not run automatically

Written rules is the explanation of the game. Configure automatic actions in How to play. Start with an example and check it in practice.

I cannot hear the sounds

Turn on the sound button beside the player on the play screen and check your device volume. The face or token needs a spoken or recorded sound. Use Preview in its editor to listen to it.

Import a set

On your iPhone or iPad, open a set page on this website, tap “Open in Rollnook”, and sign in if asked. Review the set and tap “Use This Set”. If the link doesn’t open, check that you have the latest version of Rollnook installed.

A set is no longer available

Its author may have withdrawn it, or it may be under review. Unavailable sets cannot be imported. Content revoked through moderation may also be removed from installed libraries.

Report content

In Rollnook, open the community set and use the report option. You can also block a creator to hide their publications in the app.

Delete your account

In the app, go to Profile and choose Delete Account. This is also available for guest accounts. See the privacy notice for what deletion covers.
